What each source is responsible for. Streamline does not claim sources it doesn't use.
- Catalog metadata and imagery
- TMDB / The Movie Database — Titles, synopses, cast, artwork, release dates and audience reception metadata.
- Streaming availability
- JustWatch data accessed through TMDB — Which services carry a title, and whether it is included, rented or bought. United States only in this build.
- Your Streamline rating and match score
- Streamline — Your own 1–5 star ratings, watch history and feedback. Streamline computes personal match locally — it is not a TMDB score.

Catalog metadata and imagery.
This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
Catalog metadata and imagery come from The Movie Database (TMDB).
JustWatch
Streaming, rental and purchase availability.
Streaming availability data provided through TMDB and powered by JustWatch.
JustWatch supplies the underlying availability data. JustWatch does not endorse Streamline.
Ratings are not the same thing
Three different numbers, three different origins.
- Your Streamline rating — your own 1–5 stars, stored only in your Streamline account.
- Audience reception — aggregate metadata from TMDB, shown as reception, never as your taste.
- Your match score — computed by Streamline from your ratings, history and feedback. TMDB did not generate it.
